This individual was about 19 mm long
There were hundreds of these in the carpark behind a shopping center attacking what seemed to be a very large population of moths in their pupal stage. I find it hard to imagine a single moth making it to adulthood in this area! The moth pupa were on this plant (no Idea what it is) and on some mock orange. I saw in this system at least: two species of Ichneumonidae, two species of Chalcididae, several species I believe to be Tachinidae, all seemingly there to parasitise these moths (I could be wrong about the Tachinids though)
Probably amongst the cutest tiny creatures alive..
