This is somehow the only case that I saw of one of these mantispids being attacked before completion of moulting. This is quite surprising, considering the number of spiders and other animals present at the site. In the full dark of evening a Mantispid unfurls and dries its wings while standing amongst the exuvia of those that have already come before.
