Alfred's feet
So my friends and I found a fairly big (~10cm) hairy caterpillar down in SA. They named it Alfred and we took it back to Brisbane with us to see what it turned into (we could feed it wattles at large it seemed). Live stack of 72 photos

This is a second (different) chrysalis of the common crow butterfly, together these were two of four I was given by a friend, and this one alone was the chrome silver that they should normally be.
Parasitism.
Poor Alfred the hairy caterpillar had 10 parasitoid fly pupa in him!
